In need of a brand new identity and website, this newly created peak body representing the cattle industry within Australia needed to hit the ground with a mature, well thought out, and informative website presence. The end result more than met the brief - it brought excitement and interest into the cattle industry and was met with resounding success.

About Cattle Australia

Representing the interests of all Australian cattle producers, Cattle Australia is the national peak body for the grass-fed cattle industry, providing a visible, unified, and influential voice for producers.

The design challenge

A new national peak body was being introduced within the cattle producing industry – and knowing that a solid foundation was needed, the team came to us to create a whole new brand and website presence.

Tasked with creating a brand and site that would appeal deeply to their target demographic the priority was twofold – ease of use and informative.

The brand needed to be modern, simple, and look like it belongs within the industry through the use of well thought out colours and layout.

The website also needed to house regular news items and downloadable resources along with a variety of forms that would assist the team in running the organisation on the back end.

The Solution

We created a fresh brand that introduced depth into this newly formed representative. This was achieved by developing a comprehensive brand style that included a detailed style guide, marketing collateral and website.

The website was built with ease-of-use in mind and in conjunction with the new brand, was successfully launched and well received. These factors helped attract a healthy number of members upon launch.

Iconography

The use of icons was an important element within the Cattle Australia website. They were used to not only help reinforce the brand and bring an attractive element to the website, but to also assist in being an easy identifier for its subject matter when using the site.

The outcome

The result was an attractive and well thought out brand that, when combined with the new website, helped catapult this new entity into the limelight.

Since launch, Cattle Australia has grown exponentially with member numbers, influence and resource all still growing strongly.
